Design & Development

Design and Development are the core of Instructional Design. It is needed in order to select and plan out instructional strategies. An Instructional Designer must be able to appropriately select and apply a design (or model), use the needs assessment from the analysis stage, prepare context, objectives, and instruction, and then design the course, program, or environment.

This sample of work provides a picture of my ability to successfully design, develop and create an online course in Canvas, a self-paced instructional manual, and a self-paced video. There are two links for this project above.

This project required us to address an instructional problem, and carry through the steps to design and solve the problem. It was an ongoing project throughout the course.
